We are now in a far better competitive shape for small- and medium-sized
projects
We have used the tumultuous financial crisis as a trigger for reorganizing our
company. We have slimmed, streamlined and strengthened our organization to
comply with the customers’ expectations about the right quality at the right
price. We have got the impression that the market considers as Univeyor
focusing on only major and complex solutions, but with our new and modified
model for deliveries, using external and specialized sub-suppliers instead of
manufacturing everything ourselves, were are today far more competitive –
especially as regards small- and medium-sized projects. Still, we do of course
maintain our core competences – the development, installation and
commissioning of systems. We know that this is of the utmost importance to our
customers. Furthermore, the new model for deliveries ensures the flexibility
that is crucial for a project-oriented company.
The best of Univeyor, QLS, Jokan and Nordplan
Univeyor Logistics System, ULS, was created in December 2008 through the
merger of the best parts of the three previous suppliers of material handling
systems: Univeyor, QLS and Jokan. Our main shareholder is Odin Equity
Partners, who is also the owner of Nordplan, one of the leading suppliers of
storage systems, racking, mezzanines etc., and during the fall of 2009,
Nordplan and ULS will merge into a new, strong supplier of products and
customized solutions within storing and material handling. A total turnover of
DKK 2-300 million and a solid equity capital provide a healthy financial
platform for the combined company.
Wide and unique range of products
We offer individual products and systems as well as complete maintenance
programmes
– including the optimization and retrofit of existing systems.
Adding Nordplan’s products to ours has further strengthened both our knowhow
and the range of products. Also, we have a number of new breakthrough products
on the way, for instance a further development of our Layer Picker mounted on
robot. The first three machines are already being installed on a customer
site.
